21世纪的博物馆逐渐被重新定义为：以美好生活（well-being）为导向，为个体、群体甚至全球提供可持续力的“复调空间”。
 
承此厚望，何以作为？
 
博物馆与文化遗产汇聚着不同时间、空间中的人们关于“美好生活”的恒久追求与独特经验，佐证了人们心目中关于“美好”的内涵或许多元，却共有着为之付出努力的信念。
 
百年前，蔡元培提出以人类学博物馆辅助“美育”，那些后来成为“文化遗产”的诸物被寄予超越“先进”与“落后”之厚望。20世纪末，费孝通将“美美与共”视为跨越群体与空间，面向“美好社会”的途径。而今日承载着全球关怀、互惠、共生观念的博物馆，若能成就不同个体与群体对“美好”的共识，或许正是通向人类命运共同体的楔子。
 
遗产之美，源自其承载的民族信念与国家历史文化脉络。成就与欣赏其“美”，为之共鸣，推己及人，共赴“美好生活”，则需要超越个体的精神，这是遗产最为重要的精神价值。在中华文明厚重的精神底色里，这种精神价值或许就是我们所称的家国情怀。
 
因此，第四届博物馆人类学研讨会，以“博物馆、文化遗产与家国情怀”为主题，旨在通过对文化遗产与博物馆、“家国”与“美好生活”相互交织方式的研究，思考博物馆与文化遗产对个体、家庭与国家的精神性价值，并藉此探讨当下社会与共同体对博物馆的需求与期待。

 

会议简介

 
博物馆人类学研讨会，是由中国民族博物馆于2017年发起的国际学术研讨会。历届博物馆人类学研讨会均立足国际视野与当前中国博物馆实践，涵盖多元丰富的主题，并致力于促进构建中国博物馆人类学话语体系。博物馆人类学研讨会欢迎人类学、考古学、文物与博物、民俗学、历史学、社会学、政治学、艺术史和相关学科的学者和实践者提交论文摘要，亦欢迎学者自组专题参与讨论。
 
博物馆人类学研讨会欢迎期刊与出版合作，并欢迎学术刊物、出版社以海报或其它形式参会。
 
此外，本次研讨会还将特设“第三届青年策展人评选特别单元”。
 
2023年度第四届博物馆人类学研讨会，由中国民族博物馆与云南大学民族学与社会学学院联合主办。期待与您10月在昆明相会！

Call for Paper 

 

“Museum, Cultural Heritage and the Sense of Homeland” is the theme of the Forth Biennial International Museum Anthropology conference to be held in Kunming, Yunnan, China from October 27-30, 2023. 

Museums in the 21st century are becoming redefined as “polyphonic spaces” that provide sustainable support for the well-being of individuals, communities and the world. Museums and heritage manifest not only the diversity of people’s understandings and experiences of well-being, but their shared belief of working hard in the pursuit of it.

This conference takes ‘homeland’ as a point of departure to explore the values and prospects of museums and cultural heritage for individuals, families and nations in today’s society. ‘Home’ is a central topic of anthropological inquiry, and it means not only family, but a network that connects the local and the foreign. The senses of homeland are of profound moral and social value to the Chinese civilization.

Scholars from relevant disciplines are invited to submit a 300-500-word abstract and a short biography to yanjiubu3@sina.com by July 31, 2023. The program committee will make its decisions by Sep 10, 2023, and will then send out acceptance notices and registration forms to all participants.

The Biennial International Museum Anthropology conference typically welcomes nearly 80 participants from a wide range of academic disciplines including anthropology, archaeology, history, art history, museum studies, heritage studies, folklore, architecture and architectural history.
